Overview

BD Oncology offers a suite of solutions to transform the entire oncology pathway — from prescription to preparation and administration. Using connected workflows, they have streamlined processes for oncologists, pharmacists, nurses and technicians to help minimise safety failures, unlock hidden capacity, and protect healthcare workers.

The Brief

The team asked us to deliver a strong omnichannel strategy that would achieve real results. By leveraging digital channels, SEO, PPC, video, animation, and copywriting, we needed to create targeted content and messaging that would generate leads and increase sales.

Setting the overall campaign identity, our team worked on creative taglines and messaging. Together with the client, we decided upon ‘Unmistakably BD Oncology’ as the service offering is unique to BD and unrivalled in its results.

The solution

Led by our newly created clean, modern geometric treatment for the visual identity, we rolled out a multifaceted campaign that brought together wide-ranging specialised expertise.

We called on our team’s talents in video production to create four persona videos and one main campaign video, plus shorter versions designed to be shared via social media channels. Each one was scripted, produced, and directed by us. We also took on the role of shooting campaign photography featuring people and products.

Meanwhile, we planned a 9-month PPC strategy, working with our external partners, on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Ad Words.

Understanding the market and client’s end customer was vital to the success of the campaign. So, we also undertook market research and persona interviews. To build upon the client’s expert reputation within the industry, we commissioned 25 blog posts written by professional medical copywriters in a bid to drive organic and paid traffic to a lead generation form.

Result

Internal feedback on Unmistakably BD, which launched in November, has so far been very encouraging.

When it comes to giving our client tangible results, we have produced a set of KPIs for the campaign, which we expect to be on target to deliver.
