Intelligent Growth Solutions - Virtual Farm Tour

  • Project Management
  • Video Production

Overview

Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS) engineer sustainable solutions to enhance indoor environments. Having supported them with motion graphics in the past, they were now looking for a video that helped show partners and prospective customers around their facility in Invergowrie during times of unprecedented travel restrictions.

The Brief

Seeing is believing at the IGS facility: experiencing the site in person has substantial commercial value as it showcases the innovative, scalable model they have developed. There was a desire from IGS to translate this physical experience into a virtual tour solution without diminishing the impact, focusing on their unconventional, sustainable methods in a way that partners and customers can understand.

From the outset, we knew that their team’s passion was paramount to the success of IGS and had to form a central part of the narrative. Moreover, the brief stressed authenticity. Using a member of their team to conduct the tour, we could make our virtual solution better replicate the previously physical tours.

It's all in the details

Every detail of the IGS facility is bursting with consideration and care from both a farming and engineering perspective. It was vital that we use these details to capture the facility’s soul and produce a well-rounded, engaging narrative.

Additionally, we worked closely with their team to understand the consumer journey to shape an impactful promotional video that informed the audience while encouraging contact for more detail and further inquiry.

The end goal was to shape an informative video that delivered the same powerful messages remotely rather than in person.

The solution

Using our in-house team, we created a sharp and composed virtual tour experience that captured all the small details that make the IGS facility such a powerfully innovative place and deliver an end product that capitalised on the spirit of their physical tours.

Thinking tactically, following the virtual tour production, we created a 2-minute social edit that allowed for greater traction online and made their warehouse available to more people than ever before.

Result

A ‘shop window’ promotional edit that prompts enquiry and lives on the IGS landing page, alongside the longer informative tour video, which builds on prospective customer understanding and helps shape a narrative that was previously only possible in person.

The results we achieved with the Outlook team have been fantastic. The two videos have created a very positive impact across our marketing and sales channels, practically and beautifully showcasing our vertical farming systems. Genuinely awesome and talented team to work with.
