A long-term, global MedTech client needed our support to find a creative way of explaining how a new product should be used correctly.
In response to feedback that identified some medical practitioners were applying the product’s sensors incorrectly, they wanted to create an engaging and clear animation that shows nurses the correct way to apply the sensors.
One of the key issues highlighted was that finger sensors were being used inappropriately on the ear. Within a 4-week deadline, they needed a way of showcasing the correct application of the sensor.
An animation made the most sense, so we condensed the literature provided in application guides, highlighting the step-by-step instructions on how to apply the sensors in just a few minutes. Storyboards were agreed, and final files were delivered well before the deadline.
The animation has helped support the NHS in its mission of reducing wastage and waiting times for patients.
Consequently, the animation has been shared with the rest of the NHS Improvement team and a National Medical Device Training body.
