The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) oversees and regulates all aspects of UK aviation, ensuring the highest safety standards, security and value for money for consumers.
Each year, the CAA recognises staff excellence with its prestigious companywide Annual Value Awards Ceremony. Because of our success in this specialist area, we were asked to deliver and manage a professional ‘virtual’ experience of their awards ceremony, attended by over 350 delegates from remote locations around the UK.
The CAA was looking for an engaging and exciting way to continue their much-missed recognition event without compromising their safety culture. The CAA called on us with our in-house expertise across virtual events, video production, website design, and animation.
To convey a strong brand presence, we custom designed a visually attractive branded virtual awards event microsite. Close collaboration with all stakeholders was needed at every stage. We worked with the CAA’s internal communications team to manage registration and platform access and with their presenters to remotely pre-record their award intros, nominations and winner announcements.
Meanwhile, our design and animation team produced glitzy animated stings to link the content together, just as you’d see at a physical awards event and for everyone to see their name in lights.
With the event brought to life with a pre-recorded script delivered by their host, we delivered a very special celebratory awards event.
The solution allowed the CAA to broadcast their event to the entire company and enable anyone afterwards to watch it on-demand.
